Boca Raton magazine joins our friends at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in west Delray Beach in sending our prayers to the hundreds of thousands impacted by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

At this weekend's annual Hatsume Fair—the 32nd edition of the museum's two-day spring festival—the Morikami will be teaming with the American Red Cross to raise much-needed funds. Please visit the Red Cross tent on the festival grounds and donate to the relief efforts. In addition, the Morikami will be hosting a moment of silence at 2:30 on both Saturday and Sunday.

A Morikami official also tells us that the organization is working with the Consul General in Miami to create a future fundraising effort.

The Hatsume Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 19 and 20. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children (ages 4 to 17). The festival features three stages of entertainment, including traditional taiko drumming by Fushu Daiko and martial arts demonstrations, to go along with the many artisan and culinary booths. For more information, visit the Morikami's website.

For those who can't make the Hatsume Fair this weekend, but who are interested in supporting a relief organization involved with helping the tsunami/earthquake victims, the Morikami has put together a list of groups accepting donations, including:
