If you were not seated (or standing along the walls) in Lynn University’s Green Center last night for the fashion management program’s ninth annual fashion show, slap yourself (lightly) on the wrist. You missed a memorable night.

Each spring, Lynn’s fashion students help conceptualize, staff, style and execute a high-end fashion performance for the community. This year the theme revolved around “I Love New York” by showcasing five of the Big Apple’s most popular boroughs: the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island and Queens. An additional ‘sixth borough’ was shown comprised of outfits created by the fashion students themselves.

As we mentioned before, the Green Center was packed around a giant red and white catwalk that stretched through the center of the room.

The set up could easily rival other professional fashion productions we’ve attended. Charming, yet hilarious, emcee? Check. DJ spinning great music all evening to keep the energy up? Check. A well placed photo pit of photographers? Check. A live auction with items you desperately want to own? Check.

The show was impressive. Very impressive. The students and staff of Lynn should be very proud of what they accomplished.

We were impressed in particular by a few of the looks that graced the runway. Below are a few of our favorites, but please hop over to our Facebook gallery to see many more photos from the show.

Manhattan: We loved this sapphire and diamond encrusted dress from Lucx Boutique. We could think of at least 12 places we'd want to wear it.

The Bronx: Pastels, pastels, pastels. Check out this peach button down and pink-striped tie from the Gap for men. (Take notes, men.) We also love this open-back maxi dress from Boston Proper.

Queens: One Boca Raton web editor will be owning these tribal-printed leggings by Martier. Hipster-chic, anyone?

Staten Island: A classic look with a twist. We love this striped blue tank top with yellow legging jeans by the Gap.

Queens: Another must-own. Alexis multi-colored breezy pants paired with a white top from Martier.
