So here comes summer…and Memorial Day kicks it right out of the gate. Seeing that Delray knows summer better than any little town we know, it’s no surprise that it’s got something for everyone this weekend. Here goes:

WHAT: Memorial Day Weekend Bus Loop

WHEN: Friday, May 24, 2013, 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

WHERE: The trolleys go to Boston’s (Live Music), 3rd & 3rd, O’Conner’s (Live Music), Kevro’s Art Bar (Live Music), Hurricane Lounge (Live Music), Hyatt Place, Puttin’ Around and Dada’s, with a Pizza Post-Party at 10:30 p.m. at Hurricane Lounge. Receive a free drink at each venue. (Drink Cards valid until 11:00 p.m.)  Ride the trolleys for free throughout the night.

HOW: Check in at Old School Square at the tables at corner of Atlantic Avenue and N.E. 1st Avenue or Old School Square Swinton Avenue entrance. You can park anywhere within the downtown area and hop on the nearest trolley. Stay on the trolley until you reach a check-in location. If you live anywhere within walking distance of the route, it’s best for you to walk and catch the nearest trolley to take you to check-in.

HOW MUCH: $30 pre pay or $35 at door.

WHAT: 16th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival

WHEN: May 25 and 26, Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Delray Beach Tennis Center in Downtown Delray Beach, Atlantic Avenue & SW 3rd Avenue

HOW MUCH: Free and open to the public


WHAT: Aaron Lebos Reality, Miami group whose music encompasses jazz, funk, rock, R&B

WHEN: Friday, May 24, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Arts Garage, 180 N.E. 1st Street

HOW MUCH: $20-$30


WHAT: Sandoway House Nature Center’s Beach Walk guided by Dr. Angela Witmer.
