What do you get when you combine fashion and football? Well, in Bloomingdale’s case, a collection of blinged out helmets designed by the likes of Diane Von Furstenberg, Helmut Lang, Alice + Olivia and Vince Camuto (to name a few).

Bloomingdale’s is revealing a set of 48 haute couture helmets at its 59thStreet NYC location on Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. – and no worries, we’ll be able to view them online from Boca as well.

Starting at $248, these hard hats will be auctioned off with 100 percent of proceeds going to the NFL Foundation, whose mission is to increase NFL health and safety as well as support youth football and the communities in which they thrive. Make sure to bid by Feb. 4, when the auction comes to a close.

The project is a collaborative effort between The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Bloomingdale’s and the National Football League. It’s their way to honor the Super Bowl XLVIII being in the NYC region for the first time.

“…we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate by joining Bloomingdale’s and the NFL in merging fashion and sports with the creation of these unique helmets,” says Steven Kolb, the CEO of the council.
