It’s not too late to get your tickets for Taste of the Nation Palm Beach, which takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 20, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach.
More than three-dozen local restaurants and food purveyors will be participating in this year’s mega-tasting, which benefits Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaigns. Among the local eateries that will be dishing up their delicacies: Buccan, Café Boulud, Casa D’Angelo, City Fish Market, Max’s Harvest, PB Catch and The Little House. A quartet of high-profile (and damn good) chefs will act as hosts: Zach Bell (formerly of Café Boulud, now at Addison Reserve Country Club), Lindsay Autry (ex-Top Chef and now at Sundy House), Clay Conley (of the superlative Buccan and Imoto) and original Mango Gangster Allen Susser.
Of course, along with the food there will be rivers of fine wine and specialty cocktails, live music, and live and silent auctions. Tickets cost $90 for general admission and $150 for VIP, which includes early access, a private lounge, goody bag and space in the after-party. Get ‘em at the door or at www.tasteofthenation.org.
