If you’d like to check out two of North SoFla’s hottest chefs in collaboration with one of Miami’s hottest chefs, they you’ll want to check out the “Kitchen Collab” at SoBe’s Tongue & Cheek (431 Washington Ave., 305/704-2900), with T&C chef/partner Jamie DeRosa pairing up in two different dinners with Lindsay Autry (Top Chef, Sundy House), Clay Conley (Buccan and Imoto), and Paula DaSilva (late of 1500 Degrees, now at 3030 Ocean). The Autry-DeRosa dinner is slated for Wednesday, Sept. 25, with Conley on Thursday, Oct. 17, and DaSilva on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Dinners begin at 7 p.m. Cost is $75 per person, and you have to reserve space in advance by going here.

“Press life’s pause button.” That’s the message from Brio Tuscan Grille, with a $23.95 prix fixe dinner offered from 4 p.m. on, Sunday through Thursday. The three-course dinner delivers a choice of soup or salad (say, greens with gorgonzola and balsamic vinaigrette or lobster bisque), entrees like shrimp fra diavolo or chicken Milanese, and desserts from petite pecan bread pudding to caramel cheesecake. It’s available at all three local Grilles, in Boca (5050 Town Center Circle, 561/392-3777), West Palm (550 S. Rosemary Ave., 561/835-1511) and Palm Beach Gardens (3101 PGA Blvd., 561/622-0491), but only through Monday, Sept. 30. I don’t know about you, but my finger is itching already.
