It’s that time again: One of our favorite nights of summer--Tastemakers of Delray Beach!

This Thursday and Friday, August 8 and 9, you can sample many of downtown Delray’s favorite restaurants—plus get three months of special dining deals—by snapping up a Tastemaker’s passport for $30. A total of 1 8 restaurants noted on the passport will be pairing yummy food with wine or a beverage for a strolling buffet that goes from the Avenue and Pineapple Grove down to the beach and west over to Zyree Thai and Sundy House. Try the four-cheese pear tortellini at Vic & Angelo’s or the fagottini al Tartufo (a little pasta purse filled with black and white truffle butter) at SWIG wine bar. SoLita is back with those dangerous meatballs and Sangria and Lemongrass pairs sushi with a mean saketini. The options are endless and this roving dinner by the bite is a great way to usher in the weekend.

This is what you do: Buy a passport for $30 cash at any participating restaurants (while supplies last) –the passport will get stamped at each stop you make and entitles you to tastemakers tastings and drinks on Thursday and Friday nights until you have worked your way through the list. $1 of each passport sold will benefit the Spady Museum.

Here’s who is taking part: 50 Ocean, Brulé Bistro, Cabana El Rey, Caffé Luna Rosa, Casa di Pepe, Deck 84, DIG, El Patron, HiWay Burger, Lemongrass, Off the Ave, The Office, Orange Leaf, SoLita, Sundy House SWIG Wine Bar, Vic & Angelo’s and Ziree.

Have fun and bon apetit!
