For almost 45 years, JES Media has led the affluent magazine industry in South Florida with five lifestyle publications (including Boca Raton magazine, Delray Beach magazine, 1926, the official magazine for The Boca Raton, Worth Avenue magazine and The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Annual magazine.

Opportunity: Print and digital advertising sales position for the area’s leading luxury lifestyle magazine group. Core territory opportunity with salary plus commission for qualified candidates selling into all titles. Total comp plan range inclusive of salary and commission would be $60,000-$100,000+.

The ideal candidate has three to five years related print and digital sales experience and success. We are looking for the following attributes: 

*Affinity for understanding and promoting luxury brands in the print and digital markets
* Ability to sell integrated advertising solutions to high-end advertisers in our local market
* Motivation, passion, and a proactive approach.
* Tenacity and drive to generate record-breaking revenue for JES Media
* Impeccable presentation skills
* Strong persuasive verbal and writing skills and the ability to think strategically about marketing and business
* High attention to detail and strong organization skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven, and rapidly changing environment
* Solid knowledge of the leading clients and agencies with proven experience in a variety of advertising categories
* Established sales success with relationships at the highest level
* Unquestionable work ethic

What you’ll do: 

* Prospect, secure and manage local luxury lifestyle advertising partners with an emphasis on developing new business
* Develop and execute effective email campaigns, achieve cold call goals and in-person sales presentations
* Utilize strategic industry prospecting and creative selling techniques to drive new business into our magazines, website, digital platforms
* Cultivate partnerships by deepening the reach and impact of the JES Media brand with advertisers in the marketplace
* Manage and develop client relationships by providing exceptional client support
* Assist in the development of integrated programs which create new business
