35th Annual Carbonell Awards

South Florida theatergoers, actors, producers, directors, and cast and crew members gathered at the Amaturo Theater at Broward Center for the Performing Arts for the 35th Annual Carbonell Awards. The evening featured performances from the nominees and an after-party celebration, hosted by South Florida Theatre League at The Green Room. The ceremony helps raise scholarships for students in the tri-county area to pursue careers in visual and performing arts, and journalism. Carbonell scholarship winners Mario Pavón (Boca Raton Community High), Valerie Novakoff (Pine Crest), Kimberlee Johnson (JP Taravella), Jennifer Jaroslavsky (American Heritage High of Boca/Delray), and Abby Jaros (Boca Raton Community High).
