21st Annual IYRS Summer Gala

The 21st Annual IYRS Summer Gala title-sponsored by State Street and featuring entertainment from KC and the Sunshine Band is Saturday July 7, 2018.

The Summer Gala is the biggest and most important fundraiser of the year for IYRS. As one of the main events of Newport in the summer, the Gala attracts a high demographic audience and has been called Newport’s largest gathering of exceptional people; a great crowd for a very important educational cause. The Gala raises about 40% of our annual operating costs the night of the event! Not everyone in America should go to a degree school, and IYRS is proof of an alternative: 90% of grads go to great jobs – from major marine trades companies to technology companies like Autodesk and Google X.
