Omer Netzer is one of the few Israeli artists to embrace American Country Music. After performing at the American Country Music Awards, October 7th occured. Omer lost friends and had to return home to Israel to defend his homeland. After four months of deployment, Omer returned to Nashville where his career is booming. His songs such as ‘Whiskey’ and ‘God Works in Woundrous Ways’ show his maturity as an artist and bring a message of peace and healing to the audience.
An Evening with Omer Netzer: From the IDF to Nashville, is a benefit for Heroes To Heroes Foundation, an organization that provides spiritual healing and peer support for American and IDF veterans of all faiths. Focusing on moral injury, the guilt and shame brought home from war, Heroes To Heroes has served over 480 American veterans and 150 IDF veterans, saving lives and improving the quality of lives. Their 12-month curriculum is designed to heal the soul, helping them reconnect with their values, their faiths, and their Creator.
