2018 Annual Student Showcase of Films

Largest Student Film Competition and Award Show in Florida!

The electrifying red-carpet Student Showcase of Films awards show, will present $12,500 in awards and prizes to winning student entries on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the spectacular Performing Arts Center at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. Presenters include, legendary actor Burt Reynolds, Vanilla Ice, and actor Frank Licari.

With a vibrant theme of popular video games, including costumed characters, displays and posters of Super Mario, PacMan, Gran Turismo, The Legend of Zelda, and Donkey Kong, it promises to be a festive, and exciting morning. The Student Showcase of Films, presented by the Palm Beach County Film Commission, attracts more than 700 students and their families, along with celebrities, industry pros, media, state and country dignitaries, performers, and more.

Guests will have an opportunity to view the winning film clips in eleven categories that were selected from over 600 entries. The superbly talented group of students’ hail from the finest film and digital media high schools, colleges and universities in the State of Florida. It is the largest student film competition and award show in the state.
