Say goodbye to 2010 and welcome in 2011–let’s hope it’s better–at any of these 10 local restaurants.

Deck 84, 840 East Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, 561/665-8484. If you’re looking for the best place to watch the fireworks over the Intracoastal in Delray Beach, check out the stunning waterfront views at the new Deck 84. Walk-ins are welcome and the regular menu will be featured. There also will be a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, as well as a full array of casual American dinner offerings.

Umi Fishbar + Grill, 2401 PGA Blvd., Harbour Financial Center, Palm Beach Gardens, 561/472-7900. Umi, which means “Ocean” in Japanese, will be a serene choice if you’re planning on spending New Year’s Eve waterfront in Palm Beach Gardens.  Guests can order off of the regular menu and will enjoy a sparkling Sake toast and complimentary New Year’s Eve party favors. Live DJ. Advance reservations are recommended.

Racks Downtown Eatery + Tavern, 402 Plaza Real, Mizner Park, Boca Raton, 561/395-1662. Racks offers two dining options for New Year’s Eve. Select from their regular menu from 6:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. or choose from a $65 per person prix-fixe three-course menu. The restaurant will broadcast the Times Square ball dropping, and will hand out complimentary party favors and a prosecco toast at midnight.

Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge, 29 SE 2nd Ave., Delray Beach, 561/865-7785. The Mardi Gras-themed bash will go on until 4 a.m., with the New Year being celebrated by an illuminated flying blimp dropping more than 500 balloons onto the crowd. A special prix fixe menu price at $100 per person or $150 per couple is being offered, with reservations accepted for 6 p.m. 6:30 p.m., 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Prime Steak Sushi Seafood, 110 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, 561/865-5845. Atlantic Avenue’s newest restaurant channels the vibe of a swanky 1940s supper club. Chef Peter Masiello presents a four-course,  menu for New Year’s Eve for $125 per person. Festivities also include live entertainment and a complimentary prosecco toast and NYE party favors. Seatings are at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9 p.m.

Pinon Grill, 6000 Glades Rd., The Terrace at Boca Town Center Mall, Boca Raton, 561/391-7770. For New Year’s Eve this New American newbie is serving its regular menu, crafted from fresh, organic and locally sourced ingredients. There’s indoor and outdoor dining, live entertainment and an array of flat-screen TVs to watch the ball-drop in Times Square.

III Forks, 200 E. Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, 561/416-2185 & 4645 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, 561/630-3660. Both III Forks steakhouses are offering a special New Year’s Eve menu. Among the highlights are starters like lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail, five USDA Prime steaks, plus prime rib and rack of lamb, as well as seafood specials and assorted sides.

The Office, 201 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, 561/276-3600. From 5 p.m. on this modern American gastropub will offer its regular menu, along with a roster of NYE specials. Among them are Blue Point oysters with osetra caviar, lobster Cobb salad with butter-poached Maine lobster and stuffed quail with potato pave. Complimentary party favors and midnight champagne toast will also be offered.

Vic & Angelo’s, 290 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, 561/278-9570 & 4520 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, 561/630-9899. Several special New Year’s Eve dishes, plus party favors and complimentary midnight bubbly, are on the menu at this pair of contemporary Italian restaurants. Starters include jumbo shrimp scampi toast and baked clams al forno. Entrees include filet mignon and lobster with sweet pea risotto.

Uncle Julio’s, 449 Plaza Real, Mizner Park, Boca Raton, 561/300-3530. Ring in the new year Mexican style with live music by Hal & Ebony until past midnight, plus a three-course dinner for two for $79.95. The meal starts with a margarita, chips, salsa, guacamole and cheese; goes on to lobster, beef and/or chicken fajitas; and finishes with mini cajeta with sopapillas. The regular menu is also available.
