The 2021 NCAA College Football bowl schedule has arrived, and with it came the official announcement of this year’s contenders in the annual Roofclaim.com Boca Raton Bowl.

Western Kentucky University will face off against Appalachian State on Saturday, December 18 with an early 11 a.m. kickoff time. WKU will be making its second appearance in the bowl following a win against Memphis in 2016, and Appalachian State will be appearing for the first time.

“We will have an opportunity to see history made in our game this year,” RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl executive director Doug Mosley shared in a press release announcing the matchup. “Western Kentucky comes into this game with the nation’s top passing quarterback in Bailey Zappe and he will be looking to set new NCAA single-season passing records in this game. On the other hand, Appalachian State has one of the best pass defenses in the nation. This matchup is going to be amazing to watch unfold.”

This will mark the 8th iteration of the Boca Raton Bowl, each of which has taken place at Howard Schnellenberger Field at FAU Stadium on the Florida Atlantic University campus. Tickets are available at https://roofclaimbocaratonbowl.com/.
