Boca’s Ballroom Battle is scheduled for Sept. 20 at The Boca Raton’s Grand Ballroom, and the theme this year will be the British Invasion. For the next five months, the dancers will be training with a professional dancer at Fred Astaire Dance Studios and fundraising. Proceeds benefit the George Snow Scholarship Fund, which provides college scholarships and holistic support for students.

This year’s event co-chairs are Zoe Lanham, the vice president of The Addison, and Terry Fedele, a community volunteer and retired hospital executive. Lanham won last year’s Boca’s Ballroom Battle in the women’s category, and she also broke the event’s fundraising record, bringing in $390,000. Collectively, the 2024 event raised $1.37 million.
