26° Brewery & Kitchen is honoring vets and inviting the community to join in. On Memorial Day the brewery is hosting a block party with a rock band, cornhole tournament and the debut of the “Hero Plate”, which includes a chili cheese hot dog, pulled pork slider and a special sweet treat paired with 26° beers.
The event runs from noon to 8 p.m. At 3 p.m., a moment of silence will honor fallen service members. Veterans and active-duty attendees will receive a complimentary beer or soda with a valid ID.
