The Greatest Show On Earth returns to South Florida with a fully reimagined production that moves away from the traditional circus.
Playing Kaseya Center in Miami this weekend (Jan. 9–11) and Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise (Jan. 23–25), the new Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus blends athleticism, music, and immersive design into a fast-moving experience that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.
The energy begins as soon as guests enter the arena. Performers mingle with the crowd, music fills the space, and the atmosphere feels more like a celebration than a seated performance, a tone that carries through the entire two-hour show.

Music plays a central role, with a mix of popular hits and original tracks setting the rhythm for each act. LED screens and creative camera angles pull viewers closer to the action, offering details and perspectives that would be impossible to catch from a single seat. The result is a show that feels intimate despite its arena scale, with moments that surprise, amuse, and genuinely impress, especially for younger audiences experiencing Ringling for the first time.
The cast features 65 performers representing 17 countries, bringing a wide range of styles, cultures, and disciplines into one production. Standout moments include a Colombian acrobatic salsa group that combines dance and aerial strength, gravity-defying bicycle stunts from a Chinese troupe, and a contortion performance that pushes the limits of flexibility and control. There’s also a return appearance by Bailey the Robo Pup, a crowd favorite whose playful personality and interactive moments add laughs throughout the show.

With multiple showtimes across two weekends, “The Greatest Show On Earth” offers a convenient option to do something memorable with family and friends. The production is designed to appeal across age groups, making it the perfect weekend outing.
For South Florida audiences, this refreshed take on a legendary name offers a rare mix of nostalgia and novelty, proof that the circus can still surprise us, especially when it’s willing to reinvent itself.
