Summer 2026 is officially loading and if your group chat is already buzzing with “What are you doing for camp?” you’re not alone. The last school bell in Palm Beach County will be ringing before we know it and seasoned parents know that summer camps tend to fill up fast. Yet, there are big decisions to make.
Sleepaway or stay local? Full-day or half-day? Sports or STEM? Something new or something familiar?
Here’s the good news: you don’t have to overthink it.
I’ve rounded up the local camps Boca kids are genuinely excited about. If you want a summer for your kids that’s filled with movement, creativity, confidence-building and actual fun, keep reading…
Twisters

If your child’s idea of fun includes flipping, climbing, cartwheels (and yours is burning off serious energy), Twisters should be at the top of your camp must-list.
With locations in east Boca Raton and Coconut Creek, and a Boynton Beach location on the horizon, Twisters offers camp for kids ages 5 and up who love to move. Typical days include gymnastics instruction, arts and crafts, games, movie time and plenty of open gym play.
And let’s not overlook the parent win: it’s all inside a fully air-conditioned facility. Which in a South Florida summer? Matters.
This is the camp for kids who want to stay active, try new skills, and come home happily exhausted.
Bricks Bots & Beakers

Bricks Bots & Beakers takes STEAM to another level with immersive, hands-on weekly themes for kids ages 5 and up such as experiments, engineering challenges, simulations and collaborative games that build critical thinking and creativity without feeling like “traditional school.”
Over the summer, kids will dive into unique themed adventures at two convenient east and west Boca Raton locations that keep their brains engaged while still delivering all the fun of camp.
If you want to avoid the summer slide and spark serious curiosity in your child, this one is a standout.
artNEST Studios

If your child thrives with paint on their hands and glitter in their hair, artNEST is the perfect fit.
With studios in west Boca and east Delray, artNEST offers camps for kids ages 3.5 and up in a space designed for creativity to run wild. Yes, that includes the Instagram-famous paint splatter room!
From mixed media projects to imaginative art exploration, this is where little artists gain confidence and self-expression in the most joyful way. No experience necessary–just an open mind and a desire to have lots of fun!
Organic Movements Dance School

Organic Movements in east Boca Raton offers Summer Dance Intensives for beginner dancers ages 4 to 6 (half-day) and intermediate-advanced dancers ages 7 and up (full-day).
Housed in a bright and spacious 5,200 square foot facility, students train in a professional environment complete with sprung floors, wall-to-wall mirrors, an in-house performance space (with an end of month performance for family and friends!), and all the amenities that make it feel like a second home. (I can speak to this camp personally as my daughter has attended every summer for the last 10 years.)
This Intensive is perfect for dancers who are ready to grow their technique and passion for dance.
Camp Ladybug

If your child wants to experience a little bit of everything this summer, Camp Ladybug is your choice.
Designed for kids entering Kindergarten through 6th grade, Camp Ladybug offers an exciting mix of arts and crafts, sports, yoga, karate, dance, STEM activities, group games, movies and even visits from the ice cream truck, a summer tradition!
Each week features a themed special event and dress-up day, which means no two camp weeks feel the same. Beyond the fun, Camp Ladybug is deeply committed to fostering positivity and teaching kindness, teamwork and sharing. As a parent, I love this.
Boca Museum of Art
For kids who love to create, explore and think outside the box, the Boca Raton Museum of Art School’s Summer Sessions are truly special.
Week-long classes immerse students in new artistic mediums and techniques under the guidance of the Museum’s award-winning instructors. Classes are grouped by age and theme, making it easy to find the perfect fit for your child.
With flexible morning and afternoon schedules, you can enroll in a single session or combine them for a full day of artistic discovery.
