Old School Square’s local-favorite art exhibition has been revived and will return for a two-day event starting March 28.

Launched in 2017, Art on the Square was a juried fine art show that showcased pieces from artists from around the country. Between 2017 and 2020, the program hosted six fine art shows. The revenant exhibition, produced by Cornell Art Museum Cultural Arts Director Marusca Gatto, returns with works from nearly 50 national artists displaying their pieces throughout an open-air gallery on the lawn of the Cornell.

“Our goal is to bring the community together and visitors to Downtown Delray Beach by offering many diverse art talents in one location, including our regional non-profit art groups, engaging and discussing their work with curious art collectors,” said Gatto in a press statement.

The free, public event is expected to draw thousands of visitors to enjoy a slew of family-friendly activations including live mural painting, live music performances, a Kids Space with painting activities, and much more. For more information, visit delrayoldschoolsquare.com/cornell.
