Death by Pizza is partnering up with top local chefs on a series of limited-edition specialty pies all summer long.

The Detroit-style pizza restaurant’s first collaboration of the summer will be with none other than Tropical Smokehouse pitmaster Rick Mace. Now through June 17, get a pie loaded with Tropical Smokehouse’s signature smoked brisket, sharp cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, and pecorino cheese, then finished off with a drizzle of beef tallow and sliced sweet onions.

Death by Pizza will host a new chef each week through mid-November. Chef collabs in previous years have included Pushkar Marathe from Stage, Jimmy Everett from Driftwood, and Jay Binder from MIA Kitchen & Bar. The full list of chefs is being kept under lock and key, but Death by Pizza will make an announcement each week on its Instagram. Specialty pies will be available at both its Downtown and West Delray locations.
