Toro Toro Miami Spice Rum Dinner

It’s time to get spicy at Toro Toro with a special Miami Spice Rum Dinner in celebration of National Rum Day. On Friday, August 14, at 6:30PM – in the middle of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitor’s Bureau’s first month of its annual Miami Spice summer discount dining program – the InterContinental Miami’s signature restaurant will host a special dinner featuring dishes created by celebrity chef Richard Sandoval and Executive Chef Victor Rosales for this year’s Miami Spice offerings. The menu will be paired with cocktails specially created exclusively with Zacapa, a premium rum brand from Guatemala.

The exclusive three-course dinner will take place in the restaurant’s elegant private dining space, El Matador Room. Priced at $99 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity), the evening will begin with a welcome Zacapa cocktail, La Piña 1999, at 6:30PM, followed by dinner at 7PM. As guests enjoy their pairings, a Zacapa Brand Ambassador will share their insights and expertise in the world of fine rums.

Taco de Asada with avocado, roasted pearl onion & salsa tatemada

Surf & Turf Empanadas with shrimp, lobster & lomo saltado with yuzu avocado puree

Nikkei Tuna Ceviche with sweet potato, avocado, serrano peppers, cancha corn & leche de tigre

Kimchee Grilled Salmon with seasoned grilled avocado

BBQ Mole Roasted Chicken with pickled onion & house-made creamy coleslaw

6 oz Beef Tenderloin with creamy poblano sauce & truffle risotto

Grilled Pineapple Coconut Upside-Down Cake with vanilla ice cream & cherries

Dulce de Leche Éclair with cream cheese mousse & Maldon salt
