August is National Deli Month and 3G’s Gourmet Deli in Delray Beach and Pomperdale Famous New York Deli in Fort Lauderdale are celebrating with monthlong specials.
Pomperdale, a Fort Lauderdale deli staple for more than 50 years, is offering a free bottle of New York Deli Mustard, a $1 beer, and 10% off an order with the purchase of one of its Super Stuffed New Yorker sandwiches. A dollar from each New Yorker sandwich order will be donated to the Jewish Federation of Broward County. At 3G’s, $1 will be donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation for each New Yorker Sandwich it sells. Load up on pastrami for a good cause at either restaurant through the end of August.
