Bourbon Steak, the swanky steakhouse founded by Michelin star-awarded chef Michael Mina, has named Mario Beabraut as executive chef of its Delray Beach location at The Seagate Hotel.
Beabraut is a Palm Beach County native who is no stranger to the Mina portfolio of restaurants, having lead Bourbon Steak Miami at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa and Bourbon Steak & Pub at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. In addition to his experience with Bourbon Steak, Beabraut’s CV includes The Breakers Palm Beach, Café Boulud, Bouchon Las Vegas, Farmshop Marin, and restaurants across Europe and Asia. Beabraut will draw on his global pedigree to introduce an ingredient-driven approach to Bourbon Steak’s menu of modern steakhouse favorites.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been inspired by the ways food connects people, cultures, and experiences, and I look forward to bringing that global sensibility to Delray Beach,” said Beabraut in a press statement. “My goal is to create memorable dining experiences rooted in exceptional ingredients, thoughtful technique, and genuine hospitality while honoring the standards that have made Bourbon Steak such a respected destination.”
