Family Day at Miami Design District

Once a month the Miami Design District hosts Family Day, a program that features hands-on activities and tasks for adults and children.

Catering specifically to families, the program emphasizes art, culture and education — posing as the perfect place for Sunday fun-day location after brunch or a day of early shopping.

Join the Miami Design District and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, for our FREE Family Day. Activities include:

• Sculpt Like a Pro

Sculpt and play using Model Magic modeling clay and your imagination.

• Become a Master PainterCreate your own still-life painting masterpiece.
• Murals For All Work together to create a large mural drawing.
• Art Comes to LifeLocal artist Oscar Fuentes brings art to life through interactive storytelling.
• Big Bold ColoringColor away on the massive room-sized coloring book.
• Sensory Friendly SpaceRecommended for children of all ages with sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders, this is an accepting inclusive space that is quiet, has modification to sound and light levels and offers hands on activities appropriate for children of all ages.
