UPDATE: Rocco’s Tacos has extended this offer through the end of the shutdown.

Good news for government employees on furlough: Rocco’s Tacos has a $20 credit with your name on it.

The announcement came on Instagram, where the restaurant said that employees with proper ID will be treated to a $20, one-time credit to use at any of the Mexican-themed restaurants. The special will last through Jan. 20.

Taco Tuesday and alcoholic drinks are exempt.

The government has been shutdown for over three weeks, making it the longest in American history. In the meantime, government employees are working or are on furlough without pay—once the shutdown is over, they will receive backpay.

Rocco’s Taco’s has been known for its community outreach, hosting fundraisers for various causes. Owner Rocco Mangel talked to Boca magazine recently about dealing with Multiple Sclerosis and raising $500,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. There are Rocco’s Taco’s locations all throughout South Florida, including in Boca Raton (Boca Center, 5250 Town Center Circle) and Delray Beach (110 E. Atlantic Ave.).
