On Monday Delray’s Death or Glory hosted its own funeral on its last day of operations. It posted a fond farewell to staff and loyal customers on its social media platforms and invited everyone out for a final drink. The bar first opened on a Monday so it was only right that it closed on the first day of the week, which also happened to be its five-year anniversary.

But there’s no need to be somber. While we will miss the local watering hole, its replacement is already underway. The venue will reopen as The Falcon. Death or Glory’s owner Annie Blake has teamed up with Sean Inglehart, the owner of Boynton Beach’s Sweetwater, to bring us this new restaurant and bar with a focus on cocktails and global street food.
