Though it’s only been a short while since Maggie McFly’s debut at Town Center mall, the Connecticut-based casual eats restaurant already feels right at home in Boca Raton. The space is open, warm and welcoming, with cozy booths, patio seating, low music and a massive central bar loaded with taps of any beer you can think of. But where Maggie McFly’s truly ingrains itself locally is the menu.
Most items found on Maggie McFly’s menu appear with a large “L” next to them—denoting that the dish is crafted using locally sourced ingredients, many of which come from family-owned businesses. In fact, entire pages appear dedicated to local businesses, like Delray’s Old School Bakery which provides fresh sandwich breads, and the Boynton Beach-based Aloha Bakery with its giant cupcakes that round out an already impressive dessert menu. Photos of each business and its owners share the page with menu items so you can see exactly who helped bring the meal to your table.

Drinks and desserts get the same local treatment, with craft cocktails that are made using local liquors, beers from local breweries, and sweet treats crafted by local bakeries. Ingredients that aren’t sourced locally are made in the restaurant’s scratch kitchen, and just about everything on the menu can be customized to accommodate preference or dietary restrictions.
We won’t spoil too much about the menu items ahead of our full review (stay tuned), but every page of the restaurant’s lengthy menu features dishes that will stand out to any and all comers, from bar snack favorites to pizzas, pastas and more. There’s no shortage of options, so mix, match and explore, you won’t be disappointed!
