The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has announced a slew of new additions to the neighborhood and we’re all here for it. Here’s a sneak peek into what we can expect in the coming months:

  • Subculture Coffee’s new downtown Delray Beach location celebrates its grand opening this Wednesday, July 17. 
  • Kapow Noodle Bar will open at Salt7’s former location this fall. 
  • Amar Bistro is transforming into Amar Mediterranean Kitchen and Bar when it moves to the Bar 25 location on Federal Highway (25 S.E. 6th Ave.). Its current location (522 E. Atlantic Ave.) will reopen in November as Gesto, an artisanal pizza shop.
  • Pura Vida’s healthy all-day café is opening in the former BurgerFi location at 6 S. Ocean Blvd. on the southwest corner of Atlantic Avenue and A1A. 
  • The Standard, Mizner Park’s modern American restaurant and bar, has opened its second location, replacing The OG at 166 S.E. 2nd Ave.
  • Lefkes Greek restaurant will open inside the Delray Beach Market in a few weeks. 
  • Connecticut import Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill will take over the former Cabana El Rey location.
  • True Grit Hospitality has taken over the former Taverna Opa space and will open a new concept, Roka Hula, a modern Asian tiki bar and restaurant.
  • The Bridge Café is expanding into the vacant space just east of its current location (814 E. Atlantic Ave).
  • New Jersey import Gabriella’s Modern Italian will open this October within Atlantic Crossing.
  • Jerk and Lime at Nicole’s House, a family-owned Jamaican fusion restaurant, is opening in late summer/ early fall at 182 N.W. 5th Ave.
  • Johnny’s Deli opened at Toni’s Market on West Atlantic Avenue near the Tennis Center.
