Mayor Scott Singer awarded 22-year-old Michael Pratt with a Key to The City of Boca Raton during a ceremony on July 10. Pratt, a Boca native, recently was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round during the 2024 NFL Draft. This honor is awarded to individuals who have had a significantly positive impact on the city.
Pratt told WPTV that he felt “very blessed, very fortunate and super stoked to be able to represent the city,” and thanked Mayor Scott “for giving me this opportunity.”

Pratt attended Boca Raton High School for three years where he was able to grow his passion for football. After graduating from Deerfield Beach High School, he went on to Tulane University where he led the team to a Cotton Bowl victory.
“Michael Pratt has been a great ambassador for the city of Boca Raton,” Singer told WPTV. “We were excited when he won the Cotton Bowl for Tulane, excited to see him as a draft pick for the Green Bay Packers, and hoping to see him suiting up on the field with Boca Raton under his name.”
