In case you’ve been living under a rock, Taylor Swift is making her way to Miami in support of her Eras Tour, and we are here for it.
Even if you weren’t lucky enough to score tickets to one of her shows on Oct. 18-20 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, there are plenty of happenings and hotel specials to enjoy while in Miami.
Activities
Mark your calendars to take part in these events in honor of Swift’s concerts.
Kickstarting the festivities is R House in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, hosting Taylor Swift Drag Bingo on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by London Adour and will feature drag performances to Taylor’s hits and themed cocktails—think Lover, Lady in Red, and Lavender Haze. Cost is $10 for a single bingo card or three cards for $20; proceeds will benefit the SAVE Foundation.
Get stage ready with Lit&Lean’s Eras fitness class, a night-life-inspired, full body sculpt workout with silent disco headphones playing Swift’s hits. The class will take place on Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. at the DUA Miami, Autograph Collection in Brickell.
The Diplomat in Hollywood has three days worth of activities planned during the concerts. From Oct. 18 to 20, from 2 to 6 p.m., The Hotel bar is hosting a pop up that’s open to all with a Taylor Swift braid bar, friendship bracelet making, a 1989 photo op, banner building, music and videos playing, and themed cocktails and mocktails. On Oct. 19, there’s another lineup for hotel and Resortpass guests: “Cruel Summer” sunglass crafting from noon to 1 p.m. at the Sparkling Lagoon Pool, a live DJ from noon to 4 p.m. at the pool, and Taylor Trivia from 1 to 1:30 p.m. also at the pool. Meanwhile, from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Hotel Bar, there will be a Taylor Swift cover acoustic sing along open to all.
What about a pool party? Tidal Cove at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura is planning an all-ages Pool Par-Tay (Tidal Cove’s Version) on Oct. 19 and 20. There will be two DJs playing Swift’s hits, a lip-sync battle, costume contest, games, friendship bracelets, tinsel hair braiding, cotton candy, themed drinks, and other fun. For the super fan, the hotel will have five “Eras” cabanas with goodies to take home. Tidal Cove is only open to hotel guests, and the party is free.
Looking to relax? Book a Wellness Era package at the Carillon. That includes a 50-minute Calm Down aromatherapy massage, two touchless treatments, a Tread to Taylor treadmill class (with Taylor tunes, of course), $100 food and beverage credit, and two friendship bracelets from the Little Words Project. The package is for hotel guests staying two nights from Oct. 1-31, and on the days of the concert, there is the option to add-on transportation to Hard Rock Stadium. There’s also the Calm Down spa package, which includes a 50-minute aromatherapy massage, one touchless treatment, day pass access, and a friendship bracelet from the Little Words Project.
Even the Brightline is getting in on the action, with a Brightline Sing-Along train from Orlando to South Florida and a pop-up bar experience at the Aventura station.
Hotel Specials
If you’re not looking to make the trek back north after the show, Miami hotels are offering Taylor-themed stays.
At the Gale Miami Hotel & Residences, guests who book the Stay, Stay, Stay package receive a $100 Uber gift card to get to and from the stadium, friendship bracelet swapping, a fanny pack and makeup bag, and a handheld fan to cool off during the concert. Use code KARMA when booking.
The team at The Elser Hotel & Residences also has fun up their sleeves. Guests will be welcomed to the hotel with a Bejeweled mocktail and a welcome basket with a Polaroid camera, friendship bracelet making kit, and other goodies. The surprises keep coming, with the bathrooms stocked with products (supposedly) used by Swift herself, as well as tea and snacks. At the hotel pool deck, “The Eras Tour” movie will be playing as well as her catalog of music. Check out the fitness classes, too, for themed workouts and her music from each era. Finally, get to and from the concert by limo. P.S. Swiftie dads accompanying their kids to the show will also receive a white t-shirt and glitter kit to prep their outfits for the show.
Do the Eras Tour the South Beach way at The Gabriel South Beach. Guests will receive a Miss Americana, Taylor’s Version welcome cocktail, and in their hotel suite, a friendship bracelet making kit and a Pandora Moon and Star ring set, representative of “Midnight Rain.” That’s just the beginning. This package includes an in-room spa treatment, strawberries and Champagne, a gift of Swift’s favorite skincare products, a personal stylist from Priv to prepare for the concert, and black car service to and from the show. For more information, contact sales@thegabrielsouthbeach.com.
Also on South Beach is the Bejeweled at The Balfour package. The welcome cocktail here is the Sweet Nothing, and waiting at the hotel suite are face gems, glitter, body jewelry, and a friendship bracelet making kit. Join mixologist Alberto Montesino at the bar, where he’ll be sharing how to make the Traylor Hideaway, a cocktail inspired by Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Bahamas vacation. Also on the menu is the Evermore bottomless mimosas brunch menu.
The Gates Hotel South Beach is offering the Eras Tour package, where guests will receive a French Blonde cocktail or mocktail, a concert survival kit (including ear plugs, sleep mask, fuzzy socks, essential oils, and more), a friendship bracelet making kit, and donuts from Pink Love Donuts. To prepare for the concert, there’s in-room massages, Priv stylists for dry hair styling, makeup touch ups, mini manicures, and other glam sessions. Finally, enjoy “The Eras Tour” movie at the pool deck, and a much needed late checkout.
