VÊTU Boca NOW Traditional Treasure Hunt Sip & Search Continues with Toy Drive: Where Fashion Meets Philanthropy

October 3 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

VÊTU Boca, the chic boutique known for blending fashion with a purpose, is thrilled to announce the success of their in-store events and is announcing their next community-driven event in preparation of the holidays.

On October 3 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, VÊTU will host a ‘Sip and Search’ Treasure Hunt with special guest Jay Shapiro, Publisher, SOUTH FLORIDA Magazine, along with a Toy Drive Fundraiser at their Boca Raton location (306 S Federal Highway). Guests will be able to sample delicious Vodka provided by ZAKUSA and enjoy an incredible night of fun and connection.

VETU is inviting all to bring a new unwrapped toy for Boca Raton Toy Drive. Additionally, VÊTU is offering a 10% discount for attendees who bring a toy to donate with their purchase.

VÊTU Boca is excited to welcome special guest Jay Shapiro, Founder & Publisher of South Florida Magazine, to the event. Shapiro, known for his deep insights into the region’s vibrant culture and lifestyle, will be in attendance, offering customers the unique opportunity to connect with a local media expert who truly knows all things South Florida. This is a chance for attendees to engage with one of the area’s top voices in publishing while supporting a great cause, making the evening even more special.

VÊTU Boca has always been passionate about creating more than just a shopping experience. Their mission extends beyond the clothes they sell, as they partner with local philanthropic causes to make a lasting impact on the community.

“We believe in the power of fashion and community coming together to make a difference,” says VÊTU’s Diana Alava. “This event is unique in that it pushes the boundaries of how boutiques can work with charitable organizations to give back in meaningful ways.”

At VÊTU, shoppers have the unique opportunity to make a real difference by donating to a meaningful cause while elevating their style. With the holiday season approaching, the Toy Drive is a perfect way for the community to come together and support children in need while enjoying the high-quality fashion that VÊTU is known for.

More Than Just a Boutique
This event is part of an ongoing series of community events at VÊTU Boca, which is quickly becoming known for its innovative approach to fashion retail. Each event aims to connect VÊTU shoppers with up-and-coming local talent and nonprofit organizations. As the boutique looks to solidify its presence in Boca Raton after its recent expansion from Stuart, these events serve as a bridge to building long-lasting connections within the community.

VÊTU Boca’s most recent event, the Sip and Search Treasure Hunt, was a resounding success. Held on September 19th, the event featured curated collections, complimentary cocktails from ZAKUSKA Vodka, an appearance from Chef Amanda Currie (Hell’s Kitchen Season 23), and a lively treasure hunt that had guests buzzing with excitement.

Following the Toy Drive, VÊTU Boca’s next major event will be their Place of Hope Fundraiser on November 7th, continuing their tradition of supporting local causes and giving back in style.

Mother Francia Alava was born in the Dominican Republic and has been sewing since the age of 8. In the 70s, she migrated to the Bronx, New York and worked on 26th in Madison Avenue’s garment district. In the 80s, Francia moved to New Jersey and sewed from home for luxury fashion labels. Throughout all the years of working from home, mother and daughter designed 90% of the clothing they wore. Everything from dresses, coats, suits, and more.

Daughter Diana Alava was inspired by her mother and graduated from Berkeley College with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Marketing Management and Design. After college, the mother-daughter duo moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. Francia went on to build a rapport as one of Palm Beach’s Master Tailors. Diana, who worked twenty years raising her own daughter, also owned her own business while gaining experience in different areas of the fashion industry including modeling, design, visual merchandising, buying, sales, and executive management in retail marketing. Today, Granddaughter Leediana is dual enrolled in high school/college courses. With her savviness in technology, the trio has come together to build a family brand.

The word VÊTU means “Dressed” in French and “You go” in Spanish. DRESSED YOU GO.
