It’s time to mark your calendar once again as CP Group kicks off the 2024 holiday season with the 9th Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Extravaganza at its Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC). Join us for the first festive community celebration of the season on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Though it shouldn’t be a key selling point, you can trust there will be plenty of convenient and free onsite parking available.
WPTV’s First Alert Chief Meteorologist Steve Weagle returns as emcee to lead an evening packed with fun. Watch as the 40-foot holiday tree lights up the night, meet Santa and his live reindeer, and enjoy a variety of festivities for all ages. Local vendors, food trucks, and entertainment make this a celebration the entire Boca Raton community can enjoy!

This year’s performance lineup is more exciting than ever, with local talent taking center stage, including:
- Grandview Preparatory School music students, led by Carrie Furman:
- AcaPride, an acapella group of students (grades 6-12) harmonizing holiday pop hits
- Extensions, a student ensemble performing pop, jazz, and classical choir arrangements
- Organic Movements Dance School, presenting an enchanting excerpt from “A Christmas Carol”
- West Boca Raton Community High School’s CALLIOPE, an auditioned treble ensemble composed of students in grades 10-12 arranged by Nat King Cole Generation Hope

In keeping with the tradition of community collaboration, CP Group will dedicate programming to recognizing the accomplishments of local programs and partnerships, including:
- Boca Raton High School’s Science Olympiad team
- Coaches, volunteers, and members of the Boca Raton Little League
- Annual awards will be presented for selected artists within BRiC’s ‘Art on BRiC Walls’ walking art exhibit featuring rotating works from regional organizations and institutions like Florida Atlantic University, Arts Warehouse, and Boca Raton Museum of Art.
And there’s more…

Upon entering, guests will be directed through a picturesque “Snowflake Lane” on their way to a winter wonderland filled with exciting activities like:
- A meet-and-greet with Santa and his reindeer, including a photographer to capture the memories with complimentary digital and physical photocopies
- Santa’s Workshop with holiday-themed activities, face painting, and arts and crafts hosted by the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum and ArtNEST Studios
- A charming petting zoo featuring 20 friendly farm animals
- A 360-camera booth experience with digital video copies available
- Mesmerizing LED Cirque Performers on stage and throughout the grounds, featuring daring acts such as risk-balancing performances and a contortionist juggling and spinning with over 30 hula hoops
- A ‘Food Truck Lane’ offering a variety of delicious local vendors
- A holiday-themed bounce house
- A cash bar, keeping festive spirits high
A Charitable Evening

This cherished tradition is all about “the reason for the season” by supporting three local nonprofits. It offers free entry in exchange for a new, unwrapped toy or a donation to Spirit of Giving, the event’s long-time beneficiary. These contributions support its Annual Holiday Gift Drive, spreading joy to more than 7,000 children in-need across Palm Beach County.
For those seeking a VIP experience, tickets are $60 per adult and $16 per child (16 years and younger). VIP guests will enjoy access to an exclusive hospitality tent with open bars, hors d’oeuvres, a carving station, and more. Within the tent, the “Kid’s Corner” will have treats and crafts, including a “Make Your Own S’mores” station, face painting, and glitter tattoos. Tickets are limited and sell out quickly, so be sure to secure yours today! One hundred percent of VIP ticket sales directly benefit the efforts of the Junior League of Boca Raton, an organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism, empowerment, and community improvement.

A new addition this year is the opportunity to support CP Group’s CPG Cares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by CP Group members to assist local charitable organizations. This year, the event’s iconic inflatable candy canes will be available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds, along with a portion of cash bar sales, going directly to CPG Cares. Kids with VIP tickets will also receive a candy cane as part of their experience.
Sponsorship opportunities are available this year, with both Boca magazine and WPTV returning as exclusive magazine and TV sponsors, respectively. For advance general admission registration, VIP tent ticket purchases, and sponsorship information, click here.
