Argentinian food will soon be in reach in downtown Delray Beach, as Novecento has announced it will be opening a restaurant in the historic Falcon House on Dec. 27.
Based out of Miami, this will be the first location for the brand in Palm Beach County. Things you can expect on the menu: steaks, pasta, empanadas, seafood and a raw bar (the Delray Beach spot will be the only Novecento with a raw bar).
“Delray Beach is known throughout the world for its thriving dining and nightlife scene, and we are excited to bring our concept to this charming community,” Aliosha Stern, CEO of SuViche Hospitality Group, which owns Novecento, said in a press announcement.
Restaurant concepts have come and gone through the Falcon House, most recently The Falcon and Death or Glory (and before that, Max’s Social House, Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant, 888 Lounge and a slew of Italian restaurants). It was built in 1925 and run as a pharmacy by the Falcon family in the 1940s. As a historic property, Novecento was limited in what renovations could be made. There will be 48 indoor seats, 78 outdoor seats, and two bars.
Novecento, 116 N.E. Sixth Ave., will welcome guests on Dec. 27 with limited hours—Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to midnight, Sundays from 5 to 10 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 11 p.m. It will be closed on Dec. 30 and Jan. 1. The hours will extend in January to include lunch, brunch, happy hour and dinner with weekly tango performances. A grand opening party is planned for Jan. 16.
