It’s time to get excited about these upcoming openings.
Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill
Taking over the former Cabana El Rey location, this Connecticut import has started construction and is set to open later this year. Celebrating the Southwest’s cuisine and culture, the restaurant will feature grains, root vegetables and ingredients directly from New Mexico. Guests can look forward to signature dishes like chiles rellenos, yuca fries, a selection of tacos and an expansive collection of tequilas.
Whole Foods Market
The health-focused supermarket is opening its newest location on Feb. 11. The 35,000-square-foot store, located at 9560 Glades Road, will carry more than 700 items from Florida suppliers and make food donations to Palm Beach Harvest.
Popup Bagels
The “not famous but known” bagel empire is expanding to Delray, and its store will debut this summer. Based in Connecticut, it has several outposts in New York City, and it’s now moving south. It has been featured in The New York Times and has amassed a strong, loyal following. Bagel fans can’t get enough of its whimsical schmears like Lucky Loops butter and Cacio e Pepe butter.
