Get ready for another must-attend event on the South Florida sports calendar.

The James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational is set to make its debut at The Old Course at Broken Sound from March 31 to April 6, bringing together the best of two worlds for a one-of-a-kind tournament. The event will feature a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a purse of $2.2 million. Playing alongside the Champions Tour players will be 26 football legends, who will tee it up on Friday and Saturday of the event.

And the hole in one? The tournament supports Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County and the First Tee Foundation.

“It’s going to be a terrific week and to have the icons in football together with the icons of golf is very, very special indeed,” said Ken Kennerly, executive director of the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational.

“We have 48 Pro-Am groups on Wednesday and Thursday—that means 48 football players and 48 golfers playing—and during the competition itself, 26 of the football players will play in the actual field with the PGA Tour Champions,” added Kennerly.
