Get ready for another must-attend event on the South Florida sports calendar.
The James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational is set to make its debut at The Old Course at Broken Sound from March 31 to April 6, bringing together the best of two worlds for a one-of-a-kind tournament. The event will feature a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a purse of $2.2 million. Playing alongside the Champions Tour players will be 26 football legends, who will tee it up on Friday and Saturday of the event.
And the hole in one? The tournament supports Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County and the First Tee Foundation.
“It’s going to be a terrific week and to have the icons in football together with the icons of golf is very, very special indeed,” said Ken Kennerly, executive director of the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational.
“We have 48 Pro-Am groups on Wednesday and Thursday—that means 48 football players and 48 golfers playing—and during the competition itself, 26 of the football players will play in the actual field with the PGA Tour Champions,” added Kennerly.

NFL Hall of Famers that have committed to play in the three-day tournament include South Florida local and FAU Football Executive Director of Player Engagement Cris Carter, as well as Rickey Jackson, Eric Dickerson, Devin Hester, James Lofton, Orlando Pace, Andre Reed, Tim Brown, Terrell Davis, Marshall Faulk, Derrick Brooks, Tony Boselli, Isaac Bruce, Jerome Bettis, Steve Hutchinson, Roger Wehrli, John Randle, Mike Haynes, Anthony Muñoz, Demarcus Ware, Morten Andersen, Warren Sapp, Rondé Barber, Richard Dent, Eric Dickerson, Dan Fouts, Dan Hampton, Dwight Freeney and Calvin Johnson.
Former PGA stars John Daly and Darren Clark will also compete, as well as Miguel Angel Jimenez and Jerry Kelly. With plenty of ticket options, premium hospitality, and free tickets for kids, military, veterans and first responders, this is your chance to witness gridiron greats and golf’s top veterans tee it up in person and experience the action up close in Boca Raton.
Tournament tickets start at $10 and options include Gridiron Grounds Passes, Legends Club and Legacy Club packages. The tournament will be televised on the Golf Channel and is managed by Pro Links Sports and supported by dozens of sponsors with home building product leader James Hardie at the helm. Ticket and schedule details are available here.
