Dr. Karen Diaz Meaike shares why Boca Raton was the first place that came to mind for debuting her Blushington franchise.

When people ask why I chose Boca Raton as the home for Blushington’s newest location, my answer is simple: Boca embodies beauty with intention. It’s a community that celebrates living well, giving back, and showing up—both for ourselves and for one another. With so many women here leading dynamic, full lives as mothers, executives, philanthropists, creators, and everything in between, Boca deserves a beauty experience that supports them in feeling confident, polished, and authentically themselves.

That is exactly why I brought Blushington to South Florida.

As an entrepreneur, real estate advisor, investor, and someone who’s deeply committed to elevating the experience of those around me, I’ve always been drawn to concepts that combine luxury with heart. My work has given me a front-row seat to the desires of women who value excellence and service—especially high-achieving women who rarely slow down long enough to enjoy a moment for themselves. Blushington felt like a natural extension of my purpose: guiding, uplifting, and curating spaces where women feel seen, celebrated, and cared for.

Blushington Boca Raton

Blushington is more than a beauty lounge—it’s a community hub, a place to gather, connect, and exhale. From curated makeup and skincare services to our thoughtfully designed environment, the experience is built around empowerment, not perfection. No intimidation, no pressure—just expert artistry, warmth, and a personalized touch that feels like home. I was determined that Boca’s beauty destination should be equal parts elevated and welcoming.

Bringing this brand to Boca was inspired in part by the incredible energy of women here. I’ve watched this community flourish with innovators, philanthropists, creatives, and leaders who believe in investing in themselves and others. That spirit mirrors my own values. I’ve long believed that beauty isn’t about vanity—it’s about confidence, presence, and how we show up in the world. When a woman feels good, she radiates differently. She leads differently. She loves differently. And that ripple effect impacts our homes, businesses, and communities.

Opening Blushington Boca Raton has also been a personal mission to create space for collaboration and connection. I envision events that bring women together—mentorship circles, philanthropic initiatives, networking experiences, bridal and milestone celebrations, and meaningful community partnerships. Boca has given me so much, and this is my way of giving something valuable back: a destination that not only enhances beauty, but cultivates belonging.

My promise is that every guest who walks through our doors will feel welcomed, understood, and elevated—whether they’re preparing for a board meeting, a gala, a date night, or simply craving a moment of self-care.

Boca, thank you for embracing Blushington with the warmth and enthusiasm I knew you would. I’m honored to introduce this brand to a community that truly reflects beauty from the inside out. I cannot wait to see the connections, confidence, and joy that will grow here.

Here’s to feeling luminous—together.
