Amar, Atlantic Avenue’s Mediterranean bistro, continues to expand its brand. Owners Nicolas and Susanna Kurban first opened Amar in Delray in early 2021 and then opened a bakery and market in Boynton Beach, which also sells wholesale products to local restaurants and coffee shops.

This newest opening marks Amar’s third concept and it’s just a couple doors away from the restaurant. Inside the market, guests will find European and Middle Eastern pastries, sweets and bread alongside healthy eats and dips like hummus, baba ganouj, and fresh grab-and-go items like sandwiches and salads. Susanna, who oversees the bakery, has curated a menu that caters to all dietary restrictions with a variety of gluten-free and vegan delights. It also features Pumphouse Coffee from the Jupiter specialty coffee brand and unique wine from around the globe from Lebanon and Greece to France and Italy.

The couple also recently announced the opening of the second Amar Mediterranean Bistro next year in west Boca Raton.

526 East Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach; amar-bakery.com; 561/819-9020.
