Beer enthusiasts and drinking game pros can test their mettle in a series of “Olympic” trials hosted by the American German Club.

This Saturday, May 9, marks the first qualifying round of the club’s Beer Olympics. An additional qualifying round will take place on June 13, with finalists facing off in the final round on July 11. Teams will battle over games of Flip Cup, Sausagefest, Holey Balls, B-Cups, and The Big Blow, while spectators can enjoy authentic German brews and bites as well as cocktails, wines, and, of course, schnapps. Doors open at 5 p.m. for each of the qualifying rounds and games kick off at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
