Seizing the opportunity and living the vibrant, fulfilling life you’ve dreamed of…

We all think about it.

Many of us act on it.

And sometimes we stumble along the way.

Elizabeth Gilbert will soon be here to help.

The best selling author will serve as keynote speaker on Thursday, Feb. 1 for Mindful Boca 2024, the Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life Wellness Series at Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s Lynn Women’s Institute.

Gilbert will join co-founders of Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life, Barb Schmidt and Michelle Maros, at Lynn University’s Wold Performing Arts Center for an inspiring conversation about hope, love, creativity, spirituality and embracing the joyful spirit of adventure.

It was Gilbert’s article in GQ about her personal story of bartending on New York’s Lower East Side that led to the movie “Coyote Ugly.” And she’s best known for her #1 New York Times bestseller “Eat, Pray Love” that chronicled her journey around the world following her shattering divorce. Gilbert followed “Eat, Pray Love” with numerous novels and popular works of nonfiction, including “Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear.”

“Elizabeth Gilbert is an inspiration for us both. Her vulnerability, insights, and storytelling help us all to feel like we are not alone in our experiences and that there is always magic to be found in life. We are so grateful she will be joining us in our hometown of Boca Raton for a night of community, laughter, and fun,” said Schmidt and Maros.

Funds raised through this event benefit Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health and Wellness Institute and help provide a range of programs teaching people the gift of meditation, help coping with loss, navigating difficult relationships, and looking to find their authentic selves.

Mindful Boca: An Evening with Elizabeth Gilbert will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Lynn University’s Wold Performing Arts Center. To purchase tickets, please visit here.
