Sanborn Square will once again host Boca Raton’s most sizzling summer affair with the return of the Boca Burger Battle this Saturday, July 12.
Now in its 12th year, the culinary showdown will welcome burger chefs from 17 top local restaurants to compete for the coveted People’s Choice Best Battle Burger award. Chefs will also be awarded first, second and third place by a panel of grill master judges. The festivities kick off at 6 p.m., and visitors can look forward to live music from the Spider Cherry Band, bingo games to win $250 in gift cards to local restaurants and, of course, unlimited burger tastings and craft beer, wine and spirits samplings. This year’s Burger Battle will also include a community food drive, and visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to benefit Boca Helping Hands. Receive a discounted ticket to the Burger Battle with a donation to the One Blood Big Red Bus Blood Drive, which will be onsite from 1 – 7 p.m.
