Just in time to celebrate National Pizza Week (Jan. 10 to 14) comes word that Alberto Tucci’s steller little Boca Raton pizzeria “Tucci’s Fire N Coal Pizza (50 NE First Ave., 561/620-2930)” has been named one of the country’s top 10 pie slingers by WorstPizza.com, which despite its name is actually a connoisseur of high-quality pies.
As a big fan of Tucci’s pizzas, especially the deceptively simple but thoroughly delightful magherita, I think the honor is well-deserved.
