The Boca Raton Historical Society is celebrating the city’s centennial this holiday season with two limited-edition ornaments.
Local history buffs can decorate their tree with the city’s two most iconic Addison Mizner properties, The Addison and The Boca Raton. The Addison, opened in 1925 as the Administration Building, served as Mizner’s headquarters as he developed what he envisioned as the “Dream City of the Western World.” The Boca Raton, formerly The Cloister Inn, opened in 1926 and hosted investors and international luminaries.

“As Boca Raton celebrates its centennial, these ornaments give our community a way to honor the past while sharing it with future generations,” said Boca Raton Historical Society Executive Director Mary Csar, in a statement. “They’re a beautiful reminder of Addison Mizner’s vision and the city’s remarkable journey over the last 100 years.”
The ornaments were designed by local artist Barbara Montgomery O’Connell and are available for purchase online or at the Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum gift shop. The Addison ornament is priced at $18.95 and The Boca Raton ornament is available for $24.95. Quantities are limited.
