While the City of Boca Raton has its centennial celebrations scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, the festivities and events are going all year long—and that includes the Boca Raton Public Library.

From June 16 to July 25, the library will be hosting the free exhibit “Boca Raton History: A Timeline” in partnership with the Boca Raton Historical Society. Here, lifelong residents, newcomers or visitors to Boca Raton can enjoy photos and anecdotes from the last 100 years, particularly in the 1920s when the town was first put on the map.

“This exhibit is a quick look at the amazing history of the little railroad farm town that grew into one of Florida’s most desirable addresses,” Boca Raton Historical Society Curator Susan Gillis said in a press release.

The exhibit is open to the public during library hours at the Boca Raton Public Library, 400 N.W. Second Ave.
