Call it a Christmas in July present—Brightline announced that the popular “Polar Express” experience will be returning in November with an added stop.
The magic on the rails begins on Nov. 16, and the company is already opening sales for tickets due to the popularity of the ride last season. They’ve also added a Miami train stop, in addition to Fort Lauderdale.
Families (and big kids, let’s be honest) are invited to ride on the train, which is transformed into the world of “The Polar Express,” the popular children’s book written by Chris Van Allsburg. During the one-hour ride, each passenger—wearing pajamas, of course—is given a golden ticket and treated to hot cocoa and cookies served up by dancing chefs. Other characters from the book, including the train conductor, hobo and the boy who isn’t so sure about Santa Claus, will be on board as well.

And with talks that the Brightline might be adding a station in Boca Raton, our next Christmas wish is for “The Polar Express” to make a stop right here!
The rides will run from Nov. 16 to Dec. 29 with tickets ranging from $50 to $75 depending on the location and time. Visit miamithepolarexpressride.com and ftlthepolarexpressride.com for details.
