Attendees to Delray Beach’s Art & Jazz on the Avenue this week will be the first to see the new logos and branding for Old School Square.
In May, Delray Beach artist Patricia Torras was selected from a pool of more than 30 local artists to redesign the branding for the iconic arts campus through the “Legacy Through Art” initiative. Now, the community will get to see Torras’ final design at the last Art & Jazz on the Ave of the year this Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in front of the Cornell Art Museum at Old School Square.

The festivities will be a dual celebration as Old School Square prepares for its centennial, which will be commemorated through the coming year. Visitors can look forward to complimentary bites from Death By Pizza and Two Fat Cookies for the first 100 guests, as well as live music, mural paintings, kids’ activities (including trick-or-treating), dancing and dining. Local vendors will also set up shop along the festival grounds which stretch along East Atlantic Avenue from Swinton Avenue to Federal Highway. Halloween costumes are welcome for an early All Hallow’s celebration. The new logos and branding will be unveiled at 6 p.m.
