There’s a new restaurant in town, and for once it’s not on the Ave. You’ll have to travel west to indulge in contemporary American dishes and a 900-bottle whiskey library at Warren American Whiskey Kitchen, but it’s well worth it.

Damn Good Hospitality, the team that brought us Green Bar + Kitchen and C.W.S Bar + Kitchen, is debuting its next venture as a sophisticated whiskey lounge and restaurant. Honoring CEO Jeff John’s uncle Warren, who was a bachelor, art collector and whiskey lover, this 6,000 square-foot space will feature indoor and outdoor seating and a spacious main bar plus a 12-person private dining chef’s table.

Look out for classic American dishes like St. Louis ribs and sizzling steaks alongside a raw bar, crispy calamari and Nashville hot chicken. And make sure to save room for a sweet surprise that will grace your table at the end of your meal.
