There’s a new flavor coming to the old Taste restaurant in Delray, and it’s coming from the man who was instrumental in bringing California flavors to South Florida.
The man is Dennis Max, who in the 1980s with local restaurateur Burt Rapoport introduced SoFla diners to the joys of what was then called “California cuisine.â€
Max is doing much the same thing again with his newest venture, Max’s Harvest, which is slated to open in June and embody the local, seasonal, farm-to-table ethos that’s now like gospel to California chefs and restaurateurs.
As soon as I can get hold of Dennis I’ll have more details, but it’s more good news for Delray Beach, which is rapidly becoming (if it’s not already)the restaurant destination in NoSoFla.
