1st Annual florida be like brit 5k walk for haiti

OUR STORY: As you may remember, the 2010 earthquake was a devastating one, with over 300,000 lives lost. A group of Lynn University students and professors were in Haiti on a mission trip when that earthquake occurred, and half of their team perished. This included Britney Gengel – Brit’s parents built an orphanage in her honor and also started a home building project. Their office in Brit’s hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts has been established for 8 years now.. and we just opened an office here in Delray Beach, close to Lynn University.

OUR EVENT: With our expanded presence in South Florida, it’s time to invite our local community to participate in helping Haiti from Florida! Our walk is a great day planned for kids, students in need of community service, adults, family, businesses, schools, and churches. Included in registration is our official walk t-shirt, light lunch, kids activities, and more.
