More than 3,000 walkers and runners will make strides in the ongoing fight against drunk driving during the 8th Annual Ultimate Software presents the La Croix & Lennox National Account Services Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K Brought to You by ProScapes on Sunday, April 29. This event is MADD Broward County’s annual signature fundraising event in support of its mission to end drunk driving. It takes place in over 90 cities in the U.S., including Fort Lauderdale.
The day’s festivities will also include children’s activities, an awards ceremony, live musical performances, vendor and educational booths, and appearances by local dignitaries, including Sheriff Scott Israel of Broward Sheriff’s Office who is this year’s Honorary Chairperson; Volunteer Chairperson/National Board Member and newly appointed Vice Chair of MADD’s 2018 National Board Heather Geronemus, and event Co-chair Rachel Perz.
