Guataca Boca Raton joyfully celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month 2024 with the 2nd Hispanic Theater Festival in Boca Raton.
The Hispanic community will be able to enjoy a unique Puppet Theater experience with Teatro Naku coming from Queretaro, MX to Boca Raton,
“Ñu and the Fire” is a puppet theater work for all ages that is part of a futuristic tetralogy about the four natural elements. In a dystopian city where inhabitants live immersed in virtuality, Ñu, a child who does not use virtual reality glasses, embarks on a journey to discover the power of fire and the value of human connection. Using masks, puppets, objects, and a limited stage of just two square meters, the actresses manipulate the puppets in perfect harmony, offering a visually impressive spectacle. The work addresses key themes such as disconnecting from technology to reconnect with the real world and caring for the planet. Performed in English for all ages.
